McCoy Oilfield Services was founded by Christian McCoy in 2017, continuing a family oilfield tradition that began when his great-grandfather drilled the family's first well in Kansas.
Christian came to North Dakota determined to build something of his own. Starting as a laborer, he worked through nearly every stage of well pad construction—from digging around wellheads and finish-grading scoria to welding, fabrication, and laying out tank batteries.
